## Extract
Act 668 was approved April 16, 2025. Its amendment to Arkansas Code section 12-12-1805 states that an entity using an ALPR under the enumerated governmental provisions shall:
> Compile statistical data identified in subsection (b) of this section every six (6) months into a format sufficient to allow the general public to review the compiled data;
and:
> Preserve the compiled data for eighteen (18) months.
The act also requires rules and policies concerning obtaining, retaining, and destroying captured plate data to be available for public inspection. The preserved governmental data includes the number of plates scanned; the names of lists checked; and confirmed, non-correlating, arrest, and prosecution outcomes for checks.

- The Searcy draft seeks the existing compilations and policies; it does not ask the City to calculate new statistics.
