On 2020-12-28, the Van Buren City Council passed Ordinance 30-2020 by a four-to-zero vote. The ordinance waived competitive bidding and authorized `$317,571.50` for WatchGuard digital in-car and wearable-camera systems, payable in four annual installments of `$79,392.88`.
