# ARDOT State Right-of-Way Camera Guidance ARDOT's March 3, 2025 requirements for non-ARDOT cameras inside state right-of-way. Every system requires a TSMO-issued TCD permit (`Guidelines...pdf`, p. 1). Each location needs a separate drawing with "Exact Latitude and Longitude," route, section, log mile, height, fog-line offset, mounting structure, view, and power (`Guidelines...pdf`, p. 2). Cameras may not view outside ARDOT right-of-way and may operate only within the responsible authority's jurisdiction (`Guidelines...pdf`, p. 2). This generic guidance does not establish any installed, proposed, permitted, rejected, or disputed site.
