Its purpose is “To establish policy regarding searching motor vehicles” (p. 1). ## Coverage limit These policies address stop/arrest/search authority and vehicle searches. They do not contain an ALPR-specific physical-plate-verification rule, identify incident 2026-006181, or supply the missing alert/activity/configuration records.
